Online meeting June (summer)

We normally don't have a meeting in June but we would like feedback on:

1. How parents can participate in a dialogue on new programs being introcuded into the school, especially for grade 10. For this item comment to this post.

Tricom Conversation on Education

Spruce Grove Composite High School

Hosted by SGCHS School Council

The conversation will focus on the Minister of Education's Inspiring Education: a Dialogue with Albertans (see Invitations to Inspiritng Education (Alberta) Conversations) and School Council's Parents as Coaches initiatives. This evening is part of the Tricom Dialogue on Educatiion.

The conversation will start with a one hour Inspiring Education conversation (TRICOM CONVERSATION ON EDUCATION PART A)to be followed by Part B: Local Inspiring Education Conversations  related to Parents as Coaches, and ongoing Tri-community dialogues .

To register for the conversation Email sgchsp@gmail.com registration is required so we can set up computer equipment to facilitate the conversation. Register by 5pm on the 21st.

Small Group Facilitators needed: If you would like to help facilitate the conversation, indicate that in your email and come at 6pm to get prepared.

Updates & Online Participation: If you subscribe to our blog you will get updates on the conversation, including when the Inspiring Education online participation option becomes available.

Parents as Coaches originated with the Nait Parents As Career Coaches seminar and has been expanded by (Spruce Grove Composite High School School Council) Click here for our "Parents as Coaches Pamphlet".
